MotorWeek recognized the Classic SE-R and praised the B15 Sentra in introducing the new SE-R. They noted a "slightly rubbery shifter" and a strong, but less-than-graceful launch at the strip resulting in a 7.1 second 0-60 time and a 15.5 @ 90mph in the quarter mile. "Like the old SE-R, the Spec-V is a buzzy beast under hard acceleration." On the upside, the SE-R got high marks for its lateral grip and limited body roll, but was criticized for having over-assisted power steering and a "darty" nature in everyday driving. Check out the three-wheeling.
