In the last couple of years, the American motoring public had a revelation: maybe SUVs are deadly, oversized land barges. Thus, the latest crop of "un-wagon" wagons: Mazda Protege5, Lexus SportCross, etc. Maybe a SE-R wagon? |

I've been fairly vocal in my distaste for the '02 SE-R's front bumper. Nissan tried to inject some Skyline GT-R DNA, but what came out looked more like a Frontier - the pickup. "Oh yeah? Can you do any better?" Actually, five minutes and a number #2 pencil brings us: |

Back in January, we first saw the new SE-R at the Detroit Auto Show. It was a welcome and bold effort, but there were some obvious complaints, like the ugly nose (which, ugh, made it to production) and the wheels (changed for the better). Here was my improved interpretation at the time: |
